Geographically, it is possible to use hydroelectricity and fossil fuels. However, these sources do not emit the amounts of pollutants that gas emissions do. The pollutants that are emitted by coal-fired power plants can be quite bad for the environment. So if you live in an area where these types of power plants are not operating, you may want to think about exploring the potential of hydroelectricity and geothermal power.
